The Bienville House Hotel has recently completed a multi-million dollar lobby-to-rooftop renovation. The new lobby, which resembles a French Quarter manor, is elegantly appointed with hand-painted wall murals, gracious furnishings and stately old-world charm. The on-site Louisiana Heritage Cafe and School of Cooking serves creative regional fare and offers lively culinary lessons. For recreational purposes, guests can engage in nearby golfing, running, swimming, and hiking. Rooms are elegantly equipped with satellite cable television, dial-up Internet access, wake-up service, hair dryer, clock radio, air conditioning, and iron and ironing board. This hotel also boasts valet parking, restaurant, business services, dry cleaning service, bar, lounge, 24-hour front desk, and safe-deposit box. This property is surrounded by the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, New Orleans, Riverwalk, Mississippi River, and Harrah's Casino are all within 3 blocks. Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is conveniently located close to the beautiful hotel. It is within 25-35 minutes driving distance. ** Due to renovations, our restaurant is currently closed**** Our hotels rooms are now completely non-smoking. We do have our outdoor courtyard to accommodate our guests who smoke****Please be advised that special events have a three or four night minimum stay*****Please note that the hotel may still be somewhat busy with construction workers and FEMA.*** **Hotel will begin renovations on our pool and courtyard, Tuesday, July 10, 2007. Our pool and courtyard will be closed for approximately 26 weeks. During that time, our guests will be able to use the roof top pool at our sister property the Hotel Monteleone. They are located 1 + blocks from the Bienville House. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The projected date for the courtyard with new heated salt water pool to be completed is December 1, 2007.****Parking is available for $20 per car per night; and $25 per jeep, truck, van or SUV per night. Parking on site is available, but not guaranteed.**
